There is a real life version of Walter White from Breaking Bad!
Breaking Bad is one of the greatest television series that has ever existed. Walter White surely knew how to win everybody’s heart with his life-story and his fascination with chemistry and the blue crystal meth.
Most of us wonder how Vince Gilligan came up with such a perfect series, involving everything from drama to action and thus creating one of the tensest environments that has ever existed in a series with so much thriller.
However, there is a real life case of a man, whose life was pretty much just like Walter White’s. Stephen Doran, a 57 year old school teacher and former legislator battling stage three cancer, was caught trafficking meth resulting in an extremely similar story to AMCs series, Breaking Bad.

The real-life Walter White is actually 57-year-old Stephen Doran from Dorchester, Mass. The Match Charter Middle School tutor was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine after he allegedly received a package of the drug on school grounds, local news outlets report.
It wasn't until his arraignment, when sworn testimony revealed Doran was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, that the comparisons to the "Breaking Bad" character began to crop up. The AMC series, now in its fifth season, follows chemistry teacher Walter White, who is diagnosed with cancer and begins cooking and distributing meth to better provide for his family in the event of his death.
“His life is on the line here literally. This is a man who is being treated for stage 3 cancer at Mass General Hospital,” Doran's attorney, Vincent Murray Jr., said during the hearing Wednesday.
Doran, who previously served seven terms as a state representative, was arrested Tuesday after he left the school. Jake Wark, a spokesman for the Suffolk County district attorney's office, said state police were responding to a tip when they pulled Doran over and discovered the package, Boston.com reports.
The parcel, mailed through the U.S. Postal Service, contained 480 grams of a crystalline substance, which authorities believe to be meth. After obtaining a search warrant, police also recovered an additional 38 grams of the substance, $10,000 cash and a digital scale, among other related items, at Doran's home.
Doran is currently being held on $10,000 bail. Additionally, if he posts bail, Doran will be confined to his home and required to wear a GPS device.
While the circumstances of Doran's case do elicit a comparison to the "Breaking Bad" character, the title of real-life Walter White may still belong to an Alabama man of the same name who was arrested in 2008 -- the same year the show premiered -- on several charges, including unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and trafficking meth. That White was arrested on the same charge in January 2012 and is on the lam after he failed to appear in court in July.
